Important Notice About Visiting
If you have been exposed to an infectious disease like chickenpox, tuberculosis, measles, mumps, pneumonia or the flu, please refrain from visiting or speak with the patient’s nurse before visiting.
Hopedale Medical Complex welcomes and encourages family and friends to visit patients. In fact, we believe that spending time with loved ones is a powerful part of the healing process.
For the safety of our patients, their caregivers, and visitors, we ask you limit visits to the hours specified. Please check with your nurse regarding specific visiting hours. We also appreciate your respect for our patients’ privacy and well-being.
Intensive Care Unit
No one under the age of 12 is allowed in the ICU. Those ages 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Visiting hours begin at 8:00am and are limited to 10 minutes every hour. We ask that there be no more than 2 visitors at a time. We ask that no flowers are delivered or brought into the ICU.
Overnight Accommodations for Family Arrangements can be made for family members visiting from out of town. For an optimum care environment, we discourage family from spending the night in patient rooms. HMC can assist in helping you find options for overnight accommodations for family members that are visiting from out of town. Please speak to your nurse regarding overnight accommodations, if necessary.
