On Thursday, May 21st, a group joined Dr. Phil Rossi at White Fence Estate for a small group discussion on Stroke prevention and education. The event was held from 6:30p-8:00p and guests in attendance were able to enjoy homemade dessert from HMC kitchen and have a chance to ask questions regarding stroke symptoms, prevention, as well as learn their risk factors.
Guests also learned what it means to be a Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network Stroke Ready Hospital. The event was a great way to bring awareness to strokes and how to learn the signs of FAST if you suspect someone is having a stroke.
