Midwest Vascular Institute Hosts Going Red Event

On Monday, February 9th, the Midwest Vascular Institute at Hopedale Medical Complex held an educational event for women on Cardiovascular Health.  February is National Heart Health Month and Midwest Vascular Institute Surgeon, Matthew B. Rossi along with Dr. Bryce Paschold of Bloomington Orthopedic and Sports Enhancement center covered topics that affect women and their health.

The event was held at White Fence Estate and included a heart healthy meal served by the Hopedale Medical Complex Café, free chair massages by White Fence Estate Massage Therapists, speeches from Matthew B. Rossi and Dr. Bryce Paschold, dessert provided by Simply Sweet Cakes in Tremont, and raffles.

Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death in women and it is the goal of Midwest Vascular Institute to prevent the statistics from rising.  Education and early detection are keys in preventing cardiovascular disease.  Midwest Vascular Institute at Hopedale Medical Complex offers free Cholesterol and stroke screenings as well.
