On September 1, 2017, HMC began construction of a beautiful new $4 million, 33 bed addition to replace the Hopedale Nursing Home  “A-Wing” .  The new “A-wing” will feature both semi-private and private rooms, with a spacious dining room, 2 nursing offices, an administrator’s office, a day room, beauty salon, library, resident exam room, multi-purpose audio/visual room and private family areas.  

    The adjacent Hillman Pavilion, constructed in 2001, will remain unchanged with it’s 26 private beds, with the exception that the dining room at the Hillman will be converted to an activities room after the larger dining room opens in the new addition. The new A Wing will have a main entrance off of Grove Street with much needed ample off-street parking. The total project is 17,500 square feet.

    The Nursing Home addition was designed and is being constructed by CORE Construction of Morton, IL  and is scheduled to be completed by July, 2018. The project is now 20% complete.
