Hopedale, IL – Hopedale Medical Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Rural Hospital Nursing Scholarships. Awardees must be accepted or enrolled as a student in either a 2-year or a 4-year nursing program that offers a BSN or RN diploma and is located within fifty miles of Hopedale. This year, the foundation awarded two scholarships.
Victoria Meyer, from Manito, IL, is the first scholarship recipient. Since 2018, Victoria has been a member of the Hopedale Medical Staff originally as seasonal help in the EHS Department and is now currently a CNA at Hopedale Medical Complex. Victoria will start her nurses training at Illinois Central College this fall.
Alaina Wenninger, from Emden, IL, is the second scholarship recipient. During the past four years, Alaina has worked in Medical Arts as a nursing assistant. She will continue her nurses training at Methodist College this fall.
Congratulations to these deserving candidates, and we thank all those individuals who submitted applications this year. The Hopedale Medical Foundation has awarded over $625,000 in scholarships to students in our local communities.
