Meet two more doctors at HMC who will put YOU first.
Dr. Rebecca Proehl, board-certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, concentrates her practice in women and children's health. Dr. Trent Proehl is a board-certified general surgeon, who, like other HMC surgeons, will practice primary care (family medicine).
Both Drs. Proehl graduated from the University of Illinois School of Medicine and have been practicing in the Pontiac area for the past 12 years. They recently moved back to their roots in Tazewell County to settle their family in Tremont, where they opened a new modern doctor’s office on May 13th, 2017.

The Proehls’ medical practice will deliver comprehensive health and wellness services for the entire family, and make it more accessible to you, the patient. “Trent and I feel our patients deserve one-on-one care, and we are very excited about moving to Tremont and opening a new HMC Tremont office next year,” said Dr. Rebecca Proehl. “We will have some innovative and exciting things to offer our patients, especially in the area of women’s health and wellness.”
