At HMC we recognize that there are many difficult issues in life and we have an outpatient counseling program designed exclusively for seniors. Renewed Hope is an intensive outpatient counseling program that provides a safe and supportive environment for participants, and helps clients address issues of concern and find joy in their lives again.
Many people in their senior years struggle with many difficult issues, including finances, changing family dynamics, the death of a spouse, terminal illness, depression, and loneliness, to name a few. If you or a loved one has experienced any of these life changing events, you do not have to go through them alone.
Renewed Hope can help seniors cope better with these concerns. A doctor’s order is not necessary to be referred; individuals can self-refer as they wish, or refer a family member or friend.
Who Do We Help/Serve?
Renewed Hope provides counseling services to individuals generally over the age of 65 who are on Medicare A + B. Our clients typically come from cities and towns within a 40-mile radius of Hopedale, IL. If you are unable to drive, and you reside within 20 miles of Hopedale, HMC has a transport van which offers free door-to-door service.
Structure:
Sessions cover a wide variety of topics, ranging from grief to happiness. Many seniors use their time with us to share thoughts about their day-to-day lives, to reminisce about the past, or to speculate about the future. All of these are good topics for discussion during counseling sessions. Although we stress a group therapy format, individual and family counseling is available.

Insurance:
