Volunteers….Making a Difference at Hopedale Medical Complex

Consider volunteering at HMC by sharing your time, talents, and gifts with those that are part of Hopedale Medical Complex.  As volunteers at HMC, we offer an extra dimension of care and services to all those we support.  Volunteer Services is essential to the mission of Hopedale Medical Complex providing an efficient and humanistic volunteer staff, which offers an extra dimension of care and service to patients, empathy for families, visitors, and supportive services for the staff.

We welcome individuals of all abilities and backgrounds and do not judge applicants by race, religion, or age. Instead, we pursue volunteers who understand the need of service to others, are dependable and are committed to the betterment of their community.

Meet the Volunteer of the Week!

Arlis Springer, Escort
For over 10 years, Arlis Springer has been a fixture at Hopedale Medical Complex as a Volunteer Escort.  Every Monday you

can find him assisting patients, guests and residents with various needs throughout the complex. His warm smile and helping hand impacts all those who come in contact with him. When asked why he decided to volunteer here at HMC, Arlis commented, "I like being a helpful person, and I like to help where I can."

HMC is so honored to have Arlis Springer, Carroll Imig, Rudy Urbano, Don Miller, Kenny Van Dyke and Jackie Petrov as Volunteer Escorts. These six individuals donated 1207.75 hours of volunteer time this past year to HMC! We are so honored that they choose to volunteer with us and we cannot thank them enough for all that they do.
