Hopedale, IL – Focused on patients, residents, staff and community, Hopedale Medical Complex (HMC) Employees strive each day to advance the mission and vision that is rooted in the foundation of the medical complex.  Each month, HMC Employee Empowerment hosts an awards ceremony for those employees, who are recognized by their peers, for the outstanding work that they are doing in one of the numerous departments that are a part of the HMC campus.

Two staff members are recent recipients of the HMC Employee of the Month Award.  Our first awardee, Becky Martin, is a cook in the HMC Dietary Department.  Becky has been a part of the HMC team for over 2 years and is an essential part of this team, making sure meals are served each day.  Nominated by Food Service Director, Angie Pacotti-Long, she shared, “Becky is an excellent cook.  She knows what flavors go together and she seasons food perfectly.”  Not only is her food delicious, but Becky is also known for being the “queen of clean,” and always shows up ready to work.  Congratulations to Becky on a job well done.

Our second Employee of the Month recipient is Leah Warrick, RN from the Hopedale Commons.  With over 24 years of service and care throughout the HMC Campus, Leah is a familiar face not only at HMC, but in the community.  Leah has worked in the hospital, and now currently works with assisting patients in the Hopedale Commons with any medical needs that may arise.  In the nomination written by Dena Bolliger, HMC Employee, she shared, “You can always count on Leah to work extra shifts and she is always willing to help her co-workers.  Leah has a passion for people, animals, and her community.”
