The Hopedale Commons Residents hosted a Holiday Garage Sale Event on Friday August 14th, which they raised $300.00 for Make-A-Wish Foundation. We were proud to present this check to our very own HMC employees Lisa Shelbarger and Dona Weddle. Lisa and Dona are on their second year of volunteering through Make-A-Wish. They feel blessed and want to thank everyone for their generous donation to Make-A-Wish.

Make-A-Wish is the nation largest wish-granting organization that has fulfilled wishes for more than 250,000 children since 1980. Make-A-Wish donations grant wishes for children with life threating medical conditions and at times can serve as a turning point in a child’s Medical treatment by giving them hope through the opportunity to have a dream come true and a chance to forget the burden of the illness.
